This site is an independent aggregator that explains Florida's TLSAE and DETS driver education requirement and compares providers against FLHSMV's own approved-provider listing; it does not teach, deliver, or sell either course itself. We publish the requirement in plain language, keep a provider comparison current, and link out to providers so a reader can enroll directly with them.
What This Site Is Not
This site is not the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), is not a government agency, and does not issue the completion certificate, learner permit, or license this site describes. This site is not Aceable, DriversEd.com, or any of the other providers listed on Approved providers; we do not operate a course, and enrolling through one of our links means enrolling directly with that provider under that provider's own terms.

Who Verifies the Content on This Site
Every regulator fact on this site - hours, fees, statutes, and which providers are FLHSMV-listed - cites a Florida statute or an FLHSMV page. Where no such source states a fact plainly, this site says so rather than presenting a guess as settled.
How Often This Site Is Reviewed
Every page on this site carries a "last verified" and "next review" date in its own metadata, and the default review cycle is every six months unless a specific regulator rule or fee schedule changes sooner, in which case the affected page's dates and figures are updated immediately rather than waiting for the next cycle. The August 1, 2025 DETS rule change is exactly the kind of update that would trigger an off-cycle update if new detail surfaced.
